The 24-Hour EM 385-1-1 online course ensures that contractors, supervisors, and government employees meet the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) standards for workplace safety and health. This training is compulsory for those involved in military or government contract work. This 24 hours training covers topics like worksite management, personal protective equipment, and fall prevention, helping you understand EM 385-1-1 regulations. Also, it serves as the required 24-hour refresher training for Collateral Duty Safety Officers (CDSOs) every four years.
Course Modules - (33)
Keep in mind: This course doesn't meet the USACE 24-Hour Fall Protection Competent Person Training requirement, which needs at least eight hours of in-person training.
Our course will cover the EM 385-1-1 manual, which contains the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' occupational safety and health rules. It will also cover workplace management, the requirements for personal protection equipment, fall prevention, and other topics.
Our course is best for employees who are required to complete EM 385-1-1 training of 24 hours, including:
● Contractors who work on USACE projects or military installations.
● Government or military employees who must comply with or enforce EM 385-1-1 standards
● Collateral Duty Safety Officers (CDSOs) who are required to undergo a 24-hour refresher training after every four years.
EM 385-1-1 training is of different types depending on the hours of training. We also offer the 40-Hour EM 385-1-1 and 16-Hour EM 385-1-1 training courses for employees who have to meet the EM 385-1-1 training standards.
Learning Outcomes:
The 16 and 24-hour courses are for workers like contractors, military members, and government employees. But if you're a manager or supervisor working on military projects, you'll need the 40-hour course. It covers more safety topics in detail.
